"Look-Alike" Question
Discussion: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania My husband and I have a music website whose logo includes the look-alike graphic of the Blues Brothers. The website is currently non-profit, but we would like to sell t-shirts with the logo on. Someone has told us that we should check into the copyrights, of using the BluesBrothers look-alike image. The graphic is not the BluesBrothers just an imitation. Does this considered copyrighted? However, you are more likely to run afoul of trademark law than of copyright law.
