Rights to photos taken at airshows

Discussion:
What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Georgia
I take photos at airshows. What would my rights be for photos taken at public events such as military airshows for which no admission is charged? Do I need permission to sell photos of military planes? How about privately owned planes that appear at these same events?
I assume that my rights for photos taken at private airshows (those that charge admission) are more restrictive. Some shows have explicit policies stating that I cannot publish or sell any photos taken at their event without written permission. Therefore, to be on the safe side, I will assume that all private events have similar policies and will ask permission.
Answer:

Do I need permission to sell photos of military planes? No. But you may need permission to take the pictures in the first place.
But if you are allowed to take the pictures, then you can sell them without permission.
How about privately owned planes that appear at these same events? No permission needed to sell, same issue with permission to take.
assume that my rights for photos taken at private airshows (those that charge admission) are more restrictive. Potentially. They can put restrictions on if they want to, but there is no requirement that they do so.
