Can a toy company have a copyright on a shape of a piece of paper? As long as the paper does not have their character but its in the same shape and color but not mentioned in my discription or web search? Can they sue me for copyright infringment just by me cutting out a piece of paper and it looks like their product? I looked at all their products and if there is a character on the piece of paper it has a copyright that I understand but can I make this item with no character and sell it as long as I do not use their slogen or words? Can a plain piece of paper in the shape of a star be copyrighted or a trademark?
