Copyright Problems?

Discussion:
I am a freelance information specialist. Business people ask me to retrieve certain information on companies, statistics, etc. In the past, I have found my information in the library, now I am finding the information on the internet. When I would research in the library, I would make a copy of the article that I gained my information from, highlight sections of the article so the client could refer back to it from my summary. Now I would like to start a web site to advertise my specialty, am I infringing on copyrights of people that have articles all over the internet if I go and retrieve them for people for a fee? Can I make copies of the articles and give them to my clients, along with my summary or do I have to ask permission first?
Answer:
The answer my friend is blowing in the wind, the answer is.... oops got a little carried away.
The answer is stated in the front of the periodical be it newspaper, magazine etc. With respect to websites, unless ruled as public domain, all information following US laws is copyrighted regardless if registered or not.
