Auto Designer 1960

Discussion:
What is the name of your state? Tx
States this has been in: Tennessee, California, Mi, England... La, Texas.
Ok... My dad had this car design. Sent it to Company a. They told him..they liked it but that they needed to see him be more refined... SO he went to Art School... Then Company b picked him up... and his design. There is written evidence that they actually produced the design and the emblem. They fired him. Then Company C picked him up. They also liked the design and the emblem. They too made the car. Then he moved up in the company, and died.
I am his only child. I have a letter from Company C saying that 'they are returning to the family the one design that they could find' that while my father was with them, he didn't do any designing as he was in a management position.
Then his underlings went on to become big shots in the company. They turned in what appeared to be my fathers designs that company c didnt' return to the family..because they claim their werent any designs.
Also have a letter from company c saying that his designs would go into production..in two years after his death. It appears they are still in production.
He died from a duadenal ulcer.
Company C is using a version of his various designs... They are saying they didn't come out with the designs FIRST until lets say 1963. I have drawings of the same designs from 1958-1962. Signed and dated.
Since company C says they didn't do any of these designs until after 1963. Whose designs are they?
Is there a case?
They fired my father before his death because he had a terminal illness. But since are saying that they didn't fire him. He was with them when he died. He was not. He wasn't even in the correct state.
I have evidence showing that Company A was again trying to Hire him back because he was fired from Company C.
He designed these things before any employement with any company. But they are all apparently using his designs. Because he died, he got no compensation for his designs that were used after his death. While others under him profited and even retired from this company.
I ...his child... grew up in near poverty. And because I inheritied the illness he died from can not even get insurance...therefore keeping me at actually below poverty level. Is there an attorney that would take this on for a percentage? What evidence must I have?

Unfortunately, the statute of limitations for anything involving copyrights is only 6 years, so the time for suing anyone is long past.
Answer:
But he died. And we didnt' know until recently he was the one who designed all this?
Is there anything we can do? They need to create a new law?

Is there anything we can do? They need to create a new law? All of this happened far too long ago for anything yo be now. But who knows, maybe there is some fact that hasn't been disclosed here -- you should take all of your information down to an attorney with copyright experience, who can review all of the details and advise you accordingly.
