domain vs trademark

Discussion:
What is the name of your state? TX
I received a notice today from Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Inc., the owner of the trademarks "Sigma Pi Phi" and "Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity" (I did look it up). The notice was the typical 10-days-or-else notice everyone in my situation seems to receive. My domain is more or less identical to their trademark, so I probably have no case to keep it. I'd never heard of this company and have no idea really what they do. I had seen their website before, but thought it was just some college fraternity somewhere.
BUT, after researching a few cases online, it really seems like, since 1) my site is wholly non-commercial and 2) was never meant to be profited from, it should be ok. It's unoffensive, non-competitive, and a totally innocent coincidence. Sigma Pi Phi just happens to be the name my friends and I used to identify our ultimate frisbee team in college. I guess I just need to know if this is even worth fighting for. I have an e-mail address I'd love to keep and really don't want to deal with all the hassle of changing domains. Thanks for any help!
Answer:
If you domain was registered in good faith, and is being used for a purpose unrelated to the trademark, then you are probably in a good position to keep the domain. Whether it is worth fighting for or not depends on how hard they want to fight, and how much you are willing to fight back.
Answer:
I guess I just need to know if this is even worth fighting for. Whether this is worth fighting for depends on a couple of things:
1. What your intent for the domain is.
2. How much you value the domain.
3. If you're capable of defending your rights to it, via UDRP or Court.
Ditto what divgradcurl said about you having a good chance of keeping it.
