i submitted a television program idea to The Discovery Channel and was turned down because of "no interest", several months later i'm watching my idea on thier channel, what recourse do i have?

Is it possible they had no interest in our idea because they already had their production well underway or even done when you had contacted them?
You didn't state what the idea or program was about. Is their production something that would have taken more than the several months you noted?
NO....TV is magic and it takes no time to do concept, planning, production, editing, selling to broadcast, scheduling for broadcast**************.and so on...
Did you happen to catch a copyright date on the broadcast?
Not saying it doesn't happen but think long and hard before spending money.

Judging from the quality of programming lately on The Discovery Channel, that is not something I would be bragging about.
