I took an art class and painted some pictures in the class. It was a Bob Ross course with book and instructional video and the works. Someone wants to buy the painting I did and I would like to know if I have the right to sell a painting I did of a Bob Ross painting. Nobody I've talked to knows anything and the one lawyer I asked said to get the permission of Bob Ross. Can't, he's dead. Any input you can give me would help. Thanks

You can sell your painting. It's your interpretation of Bob Ross, not a photo.
