I pay a flat rate to AT&T (about $20 a month) to have .05 a minute on my calling plan. My sister recently moved from here(SC) to Florida and I gave her my calling card to use. She used it just to page people (took one minute) and the rate is, to my disbelief, $2.14 per minute. My ? is, is this legal? It sounds like a huge scam to me! No where in my papers from the company does it say it costs that much to use the calling card!

first of all if you didnt know already but are soon to find out the phone company ,like the govt.,is always right andthey will transfer you on the phone from one "specialist" to another proving it and if you somehow manage to refute each one you will be connected to the "hold specialist" that has the last unspoken sayso,but i do have a question-how did your sis know there was a paging service available?
