What are the restrictions on using or editing company names or logos? Example One: uses the exact shirt, logo, and company name from the movie Old School. *Keep in mind they are not the only website that sales t shirts that look similar to this. Example Two: uses the actual logos from major business’ and or products and then edits the logo to their desire. How is this legal? Please explain.

No, we know the answer. But since this isn't law school, you're not going to get anyone to spend a few hours discussing IP & copyright law with you, especially when that information is easily obtained through Google or Yahoo.

It's not that it's rude, it that you asked a very general question that takes law students at least a semester to cover, so that a "quickie internet answer" will do no one any good.
I'd suggest you start to read up on it yourself (this site has excellent resources if you click through the links up top) and if you have specific questions once you do, write back.
