The following post is an eloboration of my last question, which I thank all for responding to.
If I purchase 1000 widgets from Mr Widget company at retail price, apply a special plastic coating that will prolong the life of the widgets and then sell them on-line for a profit, are there any penelties.
Also, would there be any difference if the widgets were purchased at a wholesale price, modified and then sold on-line at a profit.
And finally, what if the demand for this new product was high, could the manufacturer of the widgets in their original form take any action against the modifier.
