Can I sell products with (my) picture of a public or private institution, specifically colleges/universities, as long as I don't use logos/wordmarks or other specifically owned trademarks?

hard to say with the info provided. what kind of products? what are you selling? how will the images be used? what buildings/monuments etc? these questions would seriously impact the answer. go get a lawyer.
