What is the name of your state?Oklahoma: My son is in the 4th grade. For punishment he had to copy 4 pages out of a dictionary. He had to write every thing on the page. Word for word and dot for dot. It had to be an exact copy of the page in the book. Is that breaking a copyright law?
Answer:
Probably not. This would almost certainly fall under educational fair use -- you're not going to be able to get your kid out of trouble by claiming a copyright violation!
