Hi I just started a rap group and I have a few legal questions
We dont want to go big, we just want to do this for fun. Do I still have to follow most of the legal stuff such as sampling and copyright stuff even though I am not offically a rap group?
We are 15 year old high schoolers. Is it ok if we use profanity?
We also want to sell our cd to other people in our school. is that ok?
What about promotional stuff? does that have anything to do with us?

is it illegal if i used a dj promotional instrumental and mix it in to make a new song and call that a promotional song for djs?
