I was selling some cd sets on ebay that i had purchased this last summer from a flea market. I recieved an email from the copyright owner saying i violated their copyright. They say i have copied and distributed their media. Only thing is, i didn't copy them. they were on cd-r, but i'm not the one that copied them. That is the way i recieved them, and i was reselling them. Did i really break the law??

Sure did. Not only is copying copyrighted material illegal, so is selling it. Guilty as charged.
