I own a domain name that has the name of another company in it. That company's attorney has contacted me saying that this is unlawful according to Section 43(a) of the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C Section 1125(a).
I also have screenshots of some of their sites on my site. The screen shots are not used to trick people into thinking that the site belongs to the company. They are used as a visual guide on how to use the company's sites. Supposedly this breaks Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C 101 et seq.
They now want me to transfer the domain to them, and remove all screenshots. At this point I have removed all content from the domain name and moved it to another that doesn't have their name in it. Before I transfer the domain name to them, I want to make sure they can do this to me.

Before I transfer the domain name to them, I want to make sure they can do this to me. Yep, they can. And they can make it VERY expensive for you if you don't.
