Okay I saw someone take a picture of my house, and I asked the guy what he was doing. He said he was building a database of new urbanism* home pictures on the internet.
*New Urbanism is simply a return to traditionally designed homes and communities. i.e. Small Town USA.
I'm not famous nor do I live in a historical house.

In general, if the picture is taken from a public vantage point, a person can take a picture of a building and use that picture however they want.
