Logo Copyright Problem
Discussion: Texas I am eventually going to try to start up an online website dealing with sports nutrition. I've designed my logo character that I want to use from scratch (its an original drawing I've done). It is simple, it is a musclar cartoon figure with a triangle in the background. I want to copyright this, and eventually trademark it once I get some more money. When I submit the drawing, should it be in black and white only? It currently has some color. Also should I take out the triangle background? I don't want anybody to simply take my guy and take out the triangle and replace it with another shape. Or would my guy and triangle copyright protect my guy alone as well? HomeGuru, I was thinking that since I drew a picture of him from memory of what you looked like from your gay porn ads that nobody would find out. Obviously your smarter than I thought...
