Several months ago, I discovered a company that sells 3D glasses and have since been devising my own posters, photographs and other media that can be viewed in 3D while wearing them.
Although the company offers a service that would print my comp-any name on the glasses, I chose to print my own labels and apply them. Regardless of who prints them, the company retains the patent rights and trademark for the name they use.
I paid for and received my first order from them, and each pair of glasses has their name, patent #'s. and web address printed on them.
My intentions are to include a pair of glasses for each item I design, print and sell to a customer. Although it is not my intention to claim any rights to their product, (the glasses), I am concerned that someone can readily contact them, then copy my operation. I realize that I can take steps to protect my company's operations, but would like to make it as secretive as possible.
My question is, can I cover any or a portion of their name(s), patent #'s, trademark, etc., with a label that includes my company's name and info. if I don't claim any rights to the glasses?

*** No. Most manufacturers (especially those that include THEIR trademarked information) have a clause in their contracts or agreements to prevent your defacing their trademark or patent information.

Thanks, but I have no written contract with them, nor is there any such statement on their website or in any of our correspondence or on the invoice. Do I have any latitude in the absence of same?
