I have designed a site using the layout of another site, (colors and tabular formatting) but have not used any text or graphics of the original site. Am I in any infringement of any copyright laws?

Front page was the editing tool,,, i manually creted the tables matching the layout of the original site and added the same colours.

As long as it doesn't contain any proprietary DHTML, Javascript, vbscript or images copyrighted by the original designers, html markup tags cannot be copyrighted.
