Do I need permission to photograph?
Discussion: What is the name of your state? New Jersey I volunteer for a new non-profit organization. We want to take photos of people attending our events and show the pictures on the non-profit website. 1) Are we required by law to get permission from the people photographed in order to show their picture on the web site? 2) If permission is required or recommended, is there a way to limit liability - for example, printing certain language on the back of the ticket used for admission or posting a sign. Many Thanks..... Answer: Originally posted by overworkedcpa What is the name of your state? New Jersey I volunteer for a new non-profit organization. Find one of them on the Internet, and "massage" the license to meet your specific needs. IAAL Copyright © 2006 - 2009 www.todayquiz.com
