Here is an example of my problem but not actually mine.
I have an invention of manufacture. Lets say if the invention of a
chisel was never invented. I invent a chisel and put a handle in the shape of an early model VW Bug who's rights of that design have long since expired. The Patent examinor see it and rejects it. Claims you can not claim a well - known vehicle as ones own invention. Obviousaly this is not a VW Bug this is a chisel. So how do I get this ridcules decision overturned?.

The Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences shall, on written appeal of an applicant, review adverse decisions of examiners upon applications for patents and shall determine priority and patentability of invention in interferences ... [35 U.S.C. § 6(b)]."
