Idea for TV show again
Discussion: What is the name of your state? I'm foreign Hi. I read that the Writer's Guide of America will protect an idea for a TV show from thievery. Is that true ? Is my script and idea REALLY protected ? Is there anything else I need to know ? Cordy Answer: Yes. Two things. First, see rule #2 above. Second, do NOT start a new thread everytime you post. Answer: Originally posted by JETX Yes. Two things. First, see rule #2 above. Second, do NOT start a new thread everytime you post. About rule #2. That doesn't apply to me seeing that I am not living in America. Yet. Answer: Quit being an idiot!! Rule #2 DOES apply to you since any contract you enter, unless it has a 'venue clause', is NOT subject to US laws. Answer: Lordy, I guess Cordy has a cord of deadwood for brains. Answer: My response: "Cordy" is done. Say "good bye", Cordy. IAAL Answer: [quote]Originally posted by I AM ALWAYS LIABLE [b]My response: "Cordy" is done. **A: well done. Answer: Originally posted by I AM ALWAYS LIABLE My response: "Cordy" is done. Say "good bye", Cordy. IAAL Cordy is done ? Has the world asked you to judge me ? I think not. Good bye ! Answer: Hey, I have a great idea for a television show..... Our main character is named Cordy and he lives in some far off 'foreign' land. And though he is told many, many times that his 'foreign land' is not a part of the US, nor is it subject to the US laws, he just doesn't seem to 'get it'. The funny part is that in each episode, he is required to try to convince one of his fellow 'foreigners' that their country is now a part of the United States. Imagine the outrageous fun and excitement as Cordy talks to people on the street trying to convince them that they are no longer 'foreign' but are actually Americans and subject to American laws and taxes!!! Damn, have to go, the phone is ringing and the caller ID shows Brandon Tartikoff is calling. Copyright © 2006 - 2009 www.todayquiz.com
