What is the name of your state? California
As a hobby, I have been making photo collages from calendars, works of art, and my own photographs. The calendars are photographs done by other photographers. Does this derivative work entitle me to copyright the work, if I choose to publish them? Or, am I infringing on the calendar-maker's copyright? Generally speaking, less than 50% of the original work shows in the final work, but that isn't always the case. Thanks for any advice or direction.
