I was curious what the laws were as far as me decorating childrens overalls (Old Navy brand, etc) with Hello Kitty or Strawberry Shortcake fabric and stuffed toys (I remove the stuffing and use the outside of the fabric on the toy and sew it onto the overalls), etc and making money off of it?
Am I supposed to get approval from the License owners (Sanrio, etc)? Thanks for your reply back.

You would need to get the copyright owners permission to re-use their products for commercial purposes.
