i'm not really into legal jargon or what have you; and just started freelancing for small cost-projects. so i'm just wondering if anyone who has been in the field for awhile now, and have experience with this kind of thing...if you could be kind enough to help me out and see if this contract/agreement wont put me in a bad position months/years from now...

This is boilerplate and less than I require from Independent programmers.
Just use original javascripts, DHTML, graphics, and any other code and you'll be fine.
