Got Approved!

Discussion:
Thank You to anybody on this site that replied any of my posts. I began the AOS process in november and I got approved today. I got my approval letter right after the interview, all we had to do was wait about 15 extra mins. I thought we would have to wait and get it in the mail. Now i am waiting for my card.
He didnt look at any of our pictures, marriage license, birth certificates or anything and i was surprised coz he was kinda stern, no smiles, but nice. I didnt have my I-94 or Visa coz i lost my passport, just notarized copies of them and a new empty passport. He asked for documents that have both our names. We gave him the lease, Phone bill, insurance records and credit card statement. He asked to look at my passport and my husbands too and i had to explain what happened to my old passport and I-94.
He asked my husband where he works and exactly what he does and that was all. He asked us to wait for a while while he went and got the approval letter. I pray that the rest of you guys have a speedy, uneventful process like mine. I am willing to answer any question. Those that i can that is, i really am no expert. We also did everthing ourselves. No lawyers.

Answer:
hi,
I had an interview today, I didn't have my I-94 because I guess I lost it. They put the case pending and they said you'll get the result in mail. I should expect the result in 90 days, has it happened to anybody else? The immigration officer wrote her name and her officer number and "section 245 I-485 pending" on my passport. Does anyone know what that means?
Any information will be helpful. Thanks a lot.

Hi, I recently became citizen and I'll marrying my girlfriend who came here with a visa five years ago. She had a visa for 3 months. know I hope that when we get married she can get her green card. The only problem is that she lost her I-94 and we have to get it replace. I would like to know how long does it takes to a replacement, she has her passport. We want to get this done as soon as possible as we were planning on traveling to her native country to meet her parents. She is desperate as our lawyer said it could take up one year just for the I-94. Please somebody knows how long does it really take. And is it really that necessary and can we start filling to get her legal status without it.. please somebody can somebody help me clear this..
