H1 Cap
  I'm currently on R1 and I applied for H1 (premium processing) on Feb 17th, just before they "closed the quota". I saw on your newletter and FAQ page that applications received by that date will still be processed. my question: what does this "processing" mean?!? Will I be issued H1 (assuming my petition is approved) or - since the cap has already been reached - will I have to wait till Oct 1st???

Thank you! Proceesing means, if you are aprovable otherwise, you will be approved.

Thanks for the reply but let me ask you this, for the sake of clarity: when you say "will be approved" do you mean that the H1-B status will actaully be issued??? The reason I want to clarify that point is because I heard that proccessing will tell me only if I'm approved or not, but - if there are no visas left - I will have to wait till October...:confused:
