a small question: receipt notice
  i have filed an H1-->H4 exactly one week ago, i know it would normally take a few more days to receive the receipt notice, however, will I be able to see the check deposited from my bank earlier than the physical receipt from the mail? if so, when should that be?

Answer:
Dont worry, if your application was filled out correctly and all the appropriate documents attached, then your check may be cashed anytime.
As soon as your check is cashed, request a copy of the front and back of such check from the bank. The back side of this copy will contain the Receipt Number which will be vital incase you do not receive the Receipt Notice in mail.
Wait for another 2 weeks.
