h4 visa revalidation issues
  hi all
i have a situation on which i need to act very fast.
me and my wife are here for 4 years, me on h1b and my wife on h4.our current visas on PP are valid till may 2005. i transferred my h1 to new employer last year and we have a valid extension(I 797) till 2007. we have not revalidated our passports yet.
now my wife has to travel to india and won't be back for at least 3 months by which time her visa would have expired. if she goes to us consulate in mumbai, will she have problems getting stamping because she won't have a copy of my revalidated visa? will form I 797 suffice, along with other necessary documents?

It should be ok. Your wife can get H4 without stamp in your passport.
