Getting a copy of I-129
Discussion: Getting a copy of I-129 I need to revalidate my H1 visa and i don't have a copy of I-129 with me. My lawyer who applied for the H1 is not availble and my Employer doesn't have it too. Does anyone know any way of obtaining a copy of the I-129 petition? Answer: I need to revalidate my H1 visa and I don't have a copy of I-129 with me. --- If you want to revalidate visa stamp in US from DOS then you don’t need copy of LCA and I-129, if you are going out of USA and want to get your Visa stamped from consulate then you need certified LCA and I-129 My lawyer who applied for the H1 is not available and my Employer doesn't have it too. ----- Employer H.R is supposed to keep the copy of all documents it is mistake of company H.R Does anyone know any way of obtaining a copy of the I-129 petition? ----- if your employer requests the lawyer office then any paralegal can search for your file and give you the copy of I-129, if you try to get it from BCIS through FOIA then it will take time Answer: Thanks Ginnu I am using the G-639 form to get it from BCIS as per the FOIA request guidelines given at USCIS website: http://uscis.gov/graphics/aboutus/foia/request.htm I have also asked my company HR to put in a request to the lawyer for a copy. 221g+Administrative Delays+Security Check+Fingerprint Delays Tracker (Non Muslim) Salary in Bench period for H1B holders Your Advice Needed..........
