Going to Chennai for H1b stamping
  I am going to chennai on march 25th to get my H1B stamping
I have recent paystubs, W2 for all years i have stayed in U.S
letter from employer, I129, 1-797 everything.
But i lost my PG, Degree original certificates due to burglary in my apartment in U.S.
Can I got to stamping with duplicate degree certificates (along with the police report in U.S.A) will i get my visa stamped. Or is it compulsory to take original degree certificates.
Please answer my question. I am in tension

I would think that you should not have any problem if you provide the police certificate.. and you also have the duplicate degree certs .. right?
Be optimistic and if the VO asks about it, just clearly explain the case and I am sure you will be fine.

Anybody gone through the same situation? Elephant did you get ur visa stamped. I am also in the same situation and going to stamping to india in couple of months. Please share your experience if anyone faced the same issue.
