Multiple H1Bs..Please help
  Hi,
I came to US in Jan 2005 on H4 visa. I had filed for my H1B last year. But due to some delay on behalf of my consulting firm, my application did not make it into the quota.
This year I am planning to file for two H1Bs through two separate consulting firms. Is it legally correct?
Do both the applications get approved?

it's not illegal, but what is the point to file two when you can get quota for sure ? it seems just waste of money.

A person can submit multiple application for H1 visa but should not take multiple appointment with US consulate for the visa.

  Currently i am on H4 planning to apply for a h1 through a consultant, this h1 will come only in october after which i cud work. before october if i find another Employer willing to file my h1 and i want to go ahead with this too
