Hi Guys,
I have my 'H-1' visa interview in another couple of weeks. I got my H-1 approved. My employer is US based with no branches in India. He sent me company tax returns. But, he didn't send me any client letter or project description document.
I read in this forum about 'Purchase Order' as a possible substitute for client letter. By 'Purchase Order', do you mean 'Purchase Order' for the project I will be working on or can it be any old purchase order for some old project between my employer and his client.
Could you please help.

It would need to be the purchase order for a future project. The consulate just wants to make sure your company has a project for you. Get in touch with the company that has sponsored you and ask for all the relevant client documents. Postpone your appointment until you get all the documents.
